A small, fast sudoku site built around one idea: a hint should teach you something.

What is here

960 puzzles across four levels, a daily puzzle generated from the date, eight technique guides, and an unlimited supply of fresh boards — the generator runs in your browser.

How the puzzles are made

Puzzles come from a public-domain bank (the Sudoku Exchange Puzzle Bank, released under the Unlicense) and are re-rated here by a human-technique solver. Each one is checked for a unique solution before publication. Boards you generate in the browser are created locally: a random full grid, then clues removed one at a time while the solution stays unique.

What is not here

• No advertising, affiliate links or pop-ups.
• No accounts, no email capture, no analytics scripts.
• No fake leaderboards or bot opponents.

Privacy in one sentence

Everything you do stays in this browser: progress, best times and theme are stored in localStorage and never transmitted. See Privacy.

Technology

Static HTML generated in Node, one small CSS file, and about 20 kB of JavaScript — no framework, no build-time runtime, no cookie banner. The solver, rater and generator are plain ES modules shared between the build and the browser.
